NEC IT45C4 FEATURES

COPY
The NEC IT45C4 provides 45-cpm color speed for producing high-quality brochures, presentations, reports and resource documents that make all your communications more effective.  Enhanced edge detail and sharper text at 45-cpm B&W speed provides a true monochrome replacement for your current printer/copier – with fast first-copy output of less than 4.8 seconds and high-output print productivity.  A full complement of finishing options offers your organization complete document copying solutions.

PRINT
The NEC IT45C4 comes standard with networked printing, PCL6 and PostScript-3 emulation for PC and Mac OS. Now your entire office can network and print Color or B&W, with output up to 11” X 17”. Extended features include finishing, secure printing, printing amendments, overlays, and HP driver compatibility.
Optional Fiery®* print controller gives your NEC IT45C4 sophisticated color management, color matching and graphics control capabilities for demanding professional environments.

SCAN
The NEC IT45C4 comes with standard network scanning. You can scan Color or B&W in TIFF, PDF, Compact PDF or JPEG file formats. Now import color documents into your network, convert your paper document base to files, and use the scanning functions to communication your information via data files. 
Scan-to-HDD: Scan documents into the standard HDD. You can store documents in the IT45C4 HDD for access by everyone or secured for limited access to only authorized users.
Scan-to-Email: Communicate your documents to anyone’s email. The unit also provides LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) for quick and easy access to email addresses in your LDAP mail server.
Scan-to-FTP: Scan your documents to an FTP server for access by users to view and or retrieve the document, using proxy servers.
Scan-to-SMB: Desktop scan, typically found in Windows environments, offers the ability to scan directly to a Host PC on the network to share files in a folder.
TWAIN Scanning: Once loaded, your PC applications using twain can use the NEC IT45C4 as a network scanner controlled from your desktop. Acquiring images is easy using your IT45C4 to scan to your PC.

FAX
High-speed fax option is available to bring together all your document input and output in one central location and eliminate extra equipment. Faxing features include;  2,000 auto dials, Super G3 33.6K bps with JBIG coding, PC faxing, duplex TX , duplex RX, 11”x 17” TX/RX, F-code support, auto forwarding and auto stored fax reception, to name a few. Add a second dual port to the fax option with the Multi-Line option, doubling your fax communication power

SECURITY
User Box & security features allow you to store and access documents, prints, copies, even faxes on the built-in 60 GB hard disk drive of your NEC IT45C4 – with User Authentication, Account Track and security enhancements to protect your information. Standard HDD offers; random erase, locking function and format function, an optional HDD encryption also available.

NETWORK INTEGRATION
The NEC IT45C4 offers a total suite of solutions for device management, document control, networking integration and administrative productivity. Standard network connectivity provides integration with your network and provides your clients PCs printing and scanning integration with Full-Color capabilities.
